The Alumni Building has a new look!

As most of you know the Board of Education gave the Central High Alumni Association the only remaining building of Central High School, the band and choral building, to be used as our alumni headquarters.

To date much hard work and much money has gone into the preservation of the building.  The building is looking great and we can thank Bruce Wilson '52 for his leadership role in this project.

Many visited the building after the reunion in May but so many more improvements have been made since that time.  You will be pleased to see the beautiful floor of blue and gold with the big letters CHS in the center of the room.

The displays are really taking shape and it is becoming a place for all of us who loved our days there to be proud of.

One of the ways we have of raising money to continue our improvements are by selling name plaques for each year.  One wall contains nothing but gold plaques with the name of the class member.  These plaques are $30.00 each and are engraved with the name of the classmate or in memory of a deceased classmate.

If you would like to buy a plaque for yourself or for a deceased classmate the money would certainly be appreciated in order to continue with the renovation of the building.  Just make your check out to Central High Alumni Assoc. along with your information to; Patsy Ferguson, Treasurer, 165 McCall St., Nashville, TN   37211

We also would not turn down any donation you might like to make.  Hopefully each of you will get to visit the building and see for yourselves how good it is looking.
