THE ONLY REMAINING BUILDING OF THE
FORMER CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL IS NOW
THE NEW HOME OF THE CENTRAL HIGH
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

On 0ctober 26, 2006, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Jim Cantrell, accepted the keys from Mr. Tom Hatfield of the Metro-Nashville Public Schools, to what remains of Central High School (the Band and Choir Building).

This is now ours to use for our Alumni Association.
The building has been used for record storage for many years and is in need of some TLC to get it in shape for our purposes.

This will give us a secure place to keep and display memorabilia that still exists of those wonderful days of our youth.

L-R: David Waddey (Historian); Jim Cantrell (Chairperson);
Mr. Tom Hatfield (MNPS); Roney Butts ('50s Cordinator)

At the appropriate time you will be asked to help with furnishing and/or decorating to make this something we can all be proud to use.
Also, at some point in the future, we hope to have a picnic or open house, or some activity to allow everyone to visit our “NEW” "old home".
